To mark opening day, I’ve made all my individual player xGs from last season available via Tableau. Choose any player you like and you’ll get a map of his shots on target. As an example, here’s the one for Alexis Sanchez:
The full interactive map is here. Hover over the circles for all the players details. You can also sort by team – just mess about with the filters at the bottom.
Oh, and while your here, you should probably have a look at the map for this season too. It’ll be kept up to date as the season progresses. Feel free to download the images you create, share them on twitter or use them in your blogs. The xG data is there for you to use too.
